In the fourth quarter of 2020, Europe's food delivery service apps experienced mixed trends in terms of downloads and weekly active users on the Android platform. The data, provided by Sensor Tower, offers a glimpse into the performance of the top 5 contenders in the food delivery space.

Uber Eats: Food Delivery saw a peak in downloads in early November with 260K, followed by a gradual decline to 192K by year-end. The app's weekly active users peaked at 4.76M in late November before dropping to 4.05M at the close of December.

Too Good To Go: End Food Waste experienced its highest number of downloads in early October at 241K, but this figure dropped to 102K by the end of December. Weekly active users for the app reached a high of 2.73M in late October, later decreasing to just under 2M by the end of the year.

Glovo: Food Delivery and More observed an increase in downloads from 138K to a peak of 193K in early November, with a subsequent fall to 153K by the end of December. The app's active users saw a modest peak of 1.73M in mid-October and ended the quarter with 1.49M weekly active users.

Yemeksepeti - Food & Grocery showed a steady increase in downloads from 113K at the start of the quarter to a high of 156K in late November. Weekly active users for the app increased from 1.74M to a peak of 2M in mid-November, before closing the year with 1.82M.

Deliveroo: Food Delivery UK experienced a notable increase in downloads from 102K to a high of 155K in early November, followed by a decrease to 121K by the end of December. The app's weekly active users showed a significant rise to 2.23M in early November, but dipped to 2.11M by the end of the quarter.
